What Makes Java Special?

Java is at cutting-edge of many technologies which till this day influences our everyday lives. It’s originated in California, since its development in 1995 by Sun Microsystems and in subsequent years, the language has become a backbone as far as millions of business applications are concerned.

An enormous amount of applications and websites will not work unless you have Java installed, and more are created everyday.

Java is used sensibly everywhere from desktop applications to datacenters, game consoles to scientific supercomputers, mobile applications to web applications, we can say that Java is “Omnipresent” or “Omnipotent” it literally has these attributes and it’s a why it is an extremely special programming language. If you aren’t convinced yet, let’s continue diving to know more about Java.

Java can easily be the first choice for developing programs because of its powerful features delivering high performance. Apart from performance, Java also makes applications more powerful, secure and easily scalable.

There are just no limitations for Java, as it has made its mark in financial institutions like banks as they mostly use Java-based software tools for their business. That’s the case of leading financial institutions like Barclay and Citi Group.

Java has become invaluable to the world for all its potential, in a world that is constantly changing and where there’s always a new technology coming up, it always shows its true colors and says “I can’t be outshined”. Java is still a very high demanding programming language that gives solutions in various areas. It’s not just a programming language, it’s like a supermarket with different compartments, giving solutions according to the needs of its customers.
